She has almost 20 years of experience and education in public relations, publicity, and digital engagement. In some of her most recent business endeavors, she has ventured into productions as an Executive Producer. Joy has facilitated media training programs for elected officials and C-suite and executive-level professionals.
As a servant leader, she serves on numerous boards and commissions. In 2010, she founded Joy Cook Public Relations Group. She is the lead strategist, a two-time graduate of the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, and is a Thread at Yale graduate.
